Terms of Service

1. Who can use Zunlis

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract. Don't use Zunlis if you're barred from doing so by law. If you create an account, keep your login secure; you're responsible for activity on it.

2. What Zunlis does — and doesn't do

Zunlis is a planning tool. Two people share preferences, and Zunlis suggests date ideas and itineraries using third-party venue data and automated tools, including AI. Zunlis is not a dating service, matchmaker, background-check service, travel agent, or booking agent, and it does not introduce you to anyone. You choose who to invite, whether to meet, and where to go.

Unless a plan clearly says a reservation has been confirmed through a supported booking partner, Zunlis has not made any reservation or purchase for you.

3. Your safety

Meeting someone new carries real risks. Zunlis does not verify the identity, age, background, or intentions of anyone you invite or who invites you, and does not conduct criminal background checks. You are solely responsible for your interactions with other people, online and in person. Please read our Date Safety tips. If you're ever in danger, contact local emergency services (911 in the U.S.).

First-date suggestions favor public, established venues, but Zunlis cannot guarantee that any venue or activity is safe, suitable, or appropriate for you. Use your own judgment, especially for outdoor, physical, or alcohol-related activities.

4. Venue information and estimates

Venue details (names, addresses, hours, prices, photos, ratings, accessibility, availability, and links) come from third-party providers and the venues themselves. They can be incomplete, out of date, or wrong. Prices, durations, and travel times shown are estimates, not quotes. Always confirm important details — especially hours, prices, reservations, dietary options, and accessibility — directly with the venue. Your purchases and reservations with venues or booking sites are between you and them, under their terms.

Zunlis isn't affiliated with or endorsed by any venue unless we clearly say so. If we ever earn a commission or receive payment related to a suggestion, we'll label it.

5. AI-assisted suggestions

Zunlis uses automated systems, including AI models, to compare preferences, rank options, and write short explanations. These outputs can contain mistakes. They are suggestions, not professional advice. The “Date Vibe” score and its parts (budget fit, vibe match, practical fit, crowd favorite) are Zunlis's own estimate of how well an option matches what you asked for, calculated from third-party data. They are not reviews, ratings, or endorsements of any venue.

6. Invitations and shared plans

Invitation and plan links are private but work for anyone who has them. Only send them to the person you intend to plan with. You can turn off a link at any time. Don't use Zunlis to contact people who haven't agreed to hear from you.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• use Zunlis to harass, stalk, threaten, deceive, or harm anyone, or to arrange anything illegal;
• use Zunlis for commercial sex, solicitation, or any form of exploitation;
• enter someone else's personal information, or false information intended to mislead the other person;
• scrape, overload, reverse-engineer, or interfere with the service, or bypass usage limits, paywalls, or security measures;
• use automated means to create plans or accounts in bulk;
• resell or redistribute Zunlis content or venue data.

We may limit, suspend, or end access for anyone who breaks these rules or puts others at risk.

8. Zunlis Plus and payments

Zunlis Plus is an optional paid subscription. It renews automatically each month until you cancel. The price, billing frequency, and what's included are shown before you subscribe, and you'll be asked to agree to the automatic renewal separately. You can cancel online at any time, effective at the end of the current billing period. Full details — including refunds — are in our Billing & Refunds Policy, which is part of these Terms. Core safety, privacy, cancellation, and basic itinerary information is never behind a paywall.

9. Your content

You own the preferences and any notes you submit. You give Zunlis a limited license to use them only to operate and improve the service as described in our Privacy Policy. Don't submit anything you don't have the right to share.

10. Our content

Zunlis, its design, software, and brand are owned by us or our licensors. You may use Zunlis for personal, non-commercial planning. Third-party venue content belongs to its owners and is shown under license.

11. Changes and availability

We may change, suspend, or discontinue features. If we discontinue Zunlis Plus or a paid feature you rely on, we'll give reasonable notice and a prorated refund for any prepaid, unused period. If we change these Terms materially, we'll update the date above and notify account holders before changes take effect. Changes won't apply retroactively.

12. Disclaimers

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Zunlis is provided “as is” and “as available.” We disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, and we don't promise that suggestions will be accurate, available, or that you'll enjoy your date. Some jurisdictions don't allow these disclaimers, so some may not apply to you.

13. Limits on liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law: (a) Zunlis is not liable for the acts or omissions of other users, venues, or third-party providers, or for anything that happens on a date; (b) Zunlis is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or lost profits or data; and (c) Zunlis's total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the greater of US$100 or the amount you paid Zunlis in the 12 months before the claim.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for gross negligence, willful misconduct, fraud, or death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or your rights under applicable consumer protection law.

14. Indemnity

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to cover reasonable losses and costs (including legal fees) arising from your misuse of Zunlis or your violation of these Terms or someone else's rights.

15. Disputes

Most problems can be fixed quickly — please email support@zunlis.com first, and we'll try in good faith to resolve it within 30 days. These Terms are governed by the laws of [State whose law governs the Terms], without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except that you keep any protections of the consumer laws where you live that can't be waived. Either of us may bring a qualifying claim in small-claims court.

16. Ending this agreement

You can stop using Zunlis at any time and delete your plans or account. We may end or suspend access if you break these Terms or the law, or to protect others. Sections that by their nature should survive (such as 4, 9–10, and 12–15) will survive.

17. General

These Terms, the Privacy Policy, and the Billing & Refunds Policy are the whole agreement between us. If any part is unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. Our not enforcing a term isn't a waiver. You can't transfer these Terms without our consent; we may transfer them in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets. Notices to us: [Business mailing address] or support@zunlis.com.
