Date Safety
Effective: [Effective date — set at launch] · Last updated: October 27, 2026
Zunlis helps you decide what to do. Who you meet is always your call. Zunlis does not verify identities or run background checks, so please take these precautions.
Before and during your date
- Meet in public. Choose a busy, public place for a first date — like the venues Zunlis suggests first. Don't meet at someone's home.
- Tell a friend. Share where you're going, who you're meeting, and when you expect to be done. Consider sharing your live location with someone you trust.
- Get there and back on your own. Use your own transport so you can leave whenever you want.
- Keep personal details private. Hold off on sharing your home address, workplace, or financial information until you trust someone.
- Stay in control of your drink. Watch your drink and your belongings. Drink only as much as you're comfortable with.
- Trust your instincts. If something feels off, it's okay to leave. You don't owe anyone an explanation.
- Look out for scams. Never send money, gift cards, or crypto to someone you're dating — even if the story sounds urgent.
If you need help
- Emergency: call 911 (U.S.) or your local emergency number.
- National Domestic Violence Hotline (U.S.): 1-800-799-7233, or text START to 88788.
- RAINN National Sexual Assault Hotline (U.S.): 1-800-656-4673.
- 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline (U.S.): call or text 988.
